During the one week workshop, we explained to the participants what is the web culture and net based projects, then why we like wj-s and why we like the idea of surfing the web in front of an audience.
Then, we showed them how to use the device and explained that wj-s is a way to immerse the audience in a universe, or a specific theme, or artistics works one likes on the web.
During the next days, each students began to create their websites playlists but it was mainly youtube videos. So we tried to make them understand that wj-s allows us to interact in real time with websites and that it is more attractive to interact live with websites and all its specificities in front of the audience than just showing videos. Each set is now ready and is a mix of websites and videos. The performance is tonight!
